Privacy policy

When you buy a book: your email address and transaction data (book, amount, date). Card details are processed directly by Stripe; they never reach our servers and we do not store them.

When you download a free book: your email address, in order to send you the download link.

When you browse: aggregate usage data via Meta Pixel (pages viewed, products consulted). You can block it with any tracker-blocking extension or your browser’s privacy settings.

To deliver the files you bought or requested, and to re-send them if you lose the link.

To meet the tax and accounting obligations arising from a sale.

To measure, in aggregate, which pages of the site work.

We do not sell, rent or share your email address with third parties.

Stripe, Inc. — payment processing, under its own privacy policy.

Google Firebase (Google LLC) — site hosting, catalogue database and file storage.

Resend — delivery of the download-link emails.

Meta Platforms — audience measurement via Meta Pixel.

Purchase records are kept for the period required by applicable tax law.

Download links expire after 7 days and allow a maximum of 3 downloads.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by writing to contacto@independentbooks.site. We will respond within a reasonable time.

If you write to opt out of any communication, we will stop sending it.
